Trump-Putin now reads like a bad spy novel! By now you know the first part of the story: a former MI6 agent used his contacts in Russia to accumulate a report which declared that the Russian government was holding blackmail tapes of Donald Trump doing lewd things with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel — popularly dubbed the “Pee Pee Tape.”
HIDING AFTER REPORT
If you’ve paid closer attention, you know the next part: the MI6 agent, Christopher Steele, went into hiding after his report became public. And now the other shoe has dropped: the Russian Intel agent who supplied Steele with the information is now mysteriously dead.
HIGH RANKING SOVIET KGB
Oleg Erovinkin, a high ranking intelligence agent who worked in the Soviet KGB and then the Russian FSB, was found dead in the back of his car more than a month ago in Russia. The Russian government, which controls much of the media within its borders, had worked to keep his death a secret before finally claiming that he had died of a heart attack. But according to The Telegraph, non-state Russian media outlets have reported that there was foul play involved. Age has not been confirm, but one site claims he was born in 1955, which would make him just sixty-one when he died.
