The Islamic State is using the latest issue of its publication Dabiq to further scare many Americans with the “far-fetched” imaginary story of purchasing its first nuclear weapon from Pakistan within a year and moving it into the United States through the Southern border.

Here are the key sections of the piece, according to the Independent Journal Review:

  • The Islamic State has billions of dollars in the bank, so they call on their Province in Pakistan to purchase a nuclear devicethrough weapons dealers with links to officials that are corrupt in that region. The weapon is then transported overland until it makes it to Libya, where the mujahidin move it south to Nigeria.
  • Drug shipments from Colombia bound for Europe pass through West Africa, so moving another type of smuggled goods from East to West is just as possible. The nuke and escorting mujahidin arrive on the shorelines of South America and are transported through the open borders of Central America before arriving in Mexico and up to the border with the United States.
  • Then it is just a quick hop through a smuggling tunnel and Welcome to the United States! They mingle with the 12 million ‘illegal’ aliens in American with a nuclear weapon in the trunk.

This article voluntarily concedes, however, that the scenario is “far-fetched,” but warns:

“It’s the sum of all fears for Western intelligence agencies and it’s infinitely more possible today than it was just one year ago.  And if not a nuke, what about a few thousand tons of ammonium nitrate explosive? That’s easy enough to make.”

The article, according to the Independent, also discussed how the militant Islamic group Boko Haram and others are uniting to create a global movement.

Two months ago, Boko Haram pledged its support to ISIS.

The article further states, that the Islamic State has seized “tanks, rocket launchers, missile systems, anti-aircraft systems” from the United States and Iran.

The op-ed follows disclosures by the Obama administration that U.S. Delta Forces killed ISIS Chief of Finance Fathi ben Awn ben Jildi Murad, known as Abu Sayyaf, on April 15 in a rare operation on the ground in Syria.  Murad’s wife, known as Umm Sayyaf, was taken into custody for interrogation, U.S. officials said.

This article follows an official U.S. Border Patrol report  that a surge in illegal immigrants from Central America being seized while crossing into the U.S. at the border. In addition, Judicial Watch reported last month that ISIS has set up a training camp in northern Mexico just eight miles from El Paso, Texas.

“They’ll [ISIS] been looking to do something big, something that would make any past operation look like a rabbit hunt, and the more groups that pledge allegiance the more possible it becomes to pull off something truly epic.”

But many experts are rejecting this idea that major weapons possessed by ISIS could be transported outside Syria or Iraq.  And many officials from the United States have maintained there is no indication that terrorist group could so easily carry out such an operation.

  1. You think that is far fetched?

    • No I don’t think it is far fetched – I think this could really happen!

      • wow! thats like 3 or 4 things we agree on. no wonder there’s flooding in Texas
